Equinox Island Transit is a marine transportation service based in Rockland, Maine. We work statewide contracting the movement of equipment, people and materials.

Equinox, a rugged 40-foot Young Brothers traditional Downeast boat, was built by Clark Island Boatworks, well-known for building superior seaworthy boats. We're available for custom charters as well as burials at sea.. Equinox, annually inspected by the Coast Guard, is outfitted with the latest safety gear and navigational instruments, and is piloted by a licensed and medically trained captain and deckhand.
